New Hair Dos?... Or Dont's

Last night, Kelsey was playing with Aly's skirt from her dance costume. A few minutes later, she came in with the skirt on her head dancing like an "egyptian", which eventually turned into her and Aly taking turns and laughing so hard that tears were rolling! I don't know where she comes up with this stuff...

I think we'll stick to these hair-do's!

Monday evening around 4pm, the girls headed down to the end of our road to set up their shop selling water, soda, and candy. They wanted to earn money to donate items to Primary Childrens Hospital. Kelsey's last few stays there have really shown us what a truly wonderful place it is. (They sold drinks last year (for themselves), and earned around $50.) This time, they will donate all the money at the end of summer. Their unselfish willingness to give amazes me, and I am SO proud of them! Way to go girls - - Dad and I love you so much!

Discovery Museum

With my little Aly turning 12 soon (I can't believe it!!), I've been thinking alot lately about how fast the time has gone! There are so many things I want to do with my girls before they think they are "too old". So, today we went to the Discovery Gateway museum with Mickey, Serena, and their kids. It was probably a little "young" for Aly, but she was such a good sport and helped out with keeping track of kids. Thanks ladies for the fun play day!



(And, just so you know, we did not spell the words on the wall, they were already there. Had I known "family" was spelled wrong, the OCD in me would have corrected it!!)

Happenings Update

Another tournament down, and two more to go. Kelsey's next big tourny is in Kaysville one week from this Friday. Our little "hammer" hates to see a ball go by her, so she aims for them all - even golfing some! With a few days of softball downtime, the girls have been with Steve's mom since lunchtime yesterday. Sounds like they are having a fabulous time! Thanks so much Ruth!

Well, with the girls gone, one would think Steve and I would go out on the town. However, with so little extra time on our hands these days, we took advantage of the time for some much needed yard work. Our "romantic" dinner last night consisted of: me- a granola bar and Coke, and Steve - a homemade cheese quesadilla. Today didn't allow any time for us to do anything together either, so, I headed in to Salt Lake for GLITTER TOES with my mom (love them!! - missed you Rhonda). We then went shopping at Kohl's and had yummy mexican food at Guadalahonky's. OH, and for those waiting for me to figure out pictures, I finally bought all the attachments I need, I just need to figure out how to use them..... Thanks Mom for the evening out! (It sure beats yard work!!)

Well, I've decided (with a lot of persuading) to join the blogging world. I was feeling a little left out (okay, a LOT). So...... here we are! BIG thanks to Megan for giving me the step by step instructions for setting it up, and BIG thanks to Mindy for making it all look so awesome! You ladies are the best! (So great to see you, by the way...) Now, I just need to buy the little gadget that will let me download my pictures, and I'll be set! Kelsey is in the middle of All-Star tournaments (and doing fabulous), however, it hasn't left much extra time. So, I'll do my best....
